Last month was an exciting time for the Northwest Cadence team! We had a great time delivering the Pre-Conference Workshop: Fundamentals of Lean Software Delivery and Forum session Effectively Measure Your Teams without Subjugating Them during the ALM Forum at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center in Seattle, WA.
We had even more fun launching Visual Cadence!
Northwest Cadence has been a major sponsor of the ALM Forum since the Forum’s first year. It’s traditionally a great conference with thought-provoking, compelling, and product-agnostic workshops and sessions focused on accelerating software delivery. This year was no different. This year’s ALM Forum featured keynotes and plenary sessions by industry luminaries, as well as three focused breakout tracks: Business of Software Delivery, Process of Software Development, and Principles and Practices of DevOps.
When we had the opportunity to use the ALM Forum as an inaugural launching place for our long-awaited Visual Cadence software & services package, we jumped on it!
Visual Cadence: an evidence-based agile tool
Visual Cadence, our new evidence-based agile tool, created a lot of excitement last week at the ALM Forum! Not surprisingly, as Visual Cadence provides software and services to help you answer the “when will I be done” question.
Our proprietary software paired with tailored advice makes evidence-based agile possible. Your Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) information is gathered from your Team Foundation Server (TFS) database. That information is then processed on a MS Azure virtual machine and displayed on a unique and secured website for your on-demand viewing. Your Visual Cadence consultant will work with you per sprint to review your reports and provide tailored advice to help you continuously improve your software development processes.
