We think the Microsoft Azure solution is an excellent fit for the people, processes, and tools we’ve always supported. We understand how the capabilities of the cloud can help solve common, persistent pain points in Application Lifecycle Management, and we’ve outlined some of our training workshops below to help you get started. Be sure to check out our Azure and ALM Guidebook for more information! Our guidebook is intended to be your travelogue as you enter the world of the cloud. You can download your copy directly from our site.

Training Workshops

Azure end-to-end | one (1) day

Learn about the Azure solution and how it intersects with the way you do business. Discover ways to move your solutions, platforms, and infrastructures to the cloud.

In this workshop you will be taken through an exhaustive review of all of Azure’s core features including virtual environments, web and mobile app support, DevTest, big data, media ingestion and streaming, storage backup and recovery, and identity management and federation.

Configuring IaaS with Microsoft Azure | one (1) day

Discover what it takes to set up your infrastructure within Microsoft Azure.

In this workshop, you will learn the fundamentals of Azure including setting up virtual machines and networks, storage, networking concepts, backup in the cloud, VPNs in Azure AD, SQL 2012 clustering, and SharePoint 2013 farms.

DevTest for the cloud | one (1) day

Azure plays an important role in modern continuous delivery practices, as it supports extremely rapid development cycles, near-infinite scaling, and dramatically reduced up-front costs. DevOps and DevTest become accessible to mere mortals when Azure infrastructure and platforms are used. Not only that, but staging and production environment management becomes trivial, allowing new releases to be tested in a near clone of the production environment prior to release.

Automation is key to delivering at the speed of market. It not only removes human error and speeds work, it can actually transform the team. Once key processes are automated, teams behavior changes. Since small units of functionality can now be delivered quickly, teams begin to shift their thinking and actions in subtle ways that reinforce agility and more frequent deliveries.

At the end of this Workshop, you will leave with a clear understanding of why Azure, Agility, and Automation are key to enterprise agility. You will also have a plan to take the next steps with your team.

Moving your apps to the cloud | one (1) day

Are you interested in moving your platforms and infrastructure to Azure? Should you move it all, or just some of the applications? What does it take to move your platforms and applications?

In this workshop, you will discover how Azure can help you reduce costs and eliminate infrastructure, and identify when it makes sense to move your on-premises infrastructures and platforms to Azure.

Simplify your employees’ authentication experience | one (1) day

Learn how to simplify your employees’ authentication experience across the web through the design and configuration of Azure Active Directory. Whether you need strict cloud-based Active Directory infrastructure, or you need an authentication infrastructure to support both cloud and on-premises AD, we work with your team to design and deploy an Azure Active Directory infrastructure that supports your complex needs.

In this workshop, you will learn how to configure AD Sync and AD Federation Services to support web-wide single-sign-on authentication.
