We’re all about Cortana Analytics. We’re excited about what it can do for your business. But, before I get into that, let’s address the elephant in the room. What is the correct way to pronounce the name, Cortana?
If you have an Xbox then you’ve undoubtedly play HALO and are familiar with Cortana, the AI character that aids Master Chief Petty Officer John-117. Microsoft’s Intelligent Digital Assistant is named after Cortana, and Microsoft’s new advanced analytics suite, Cortana Analytics, is also cleverly named after HALO’s know-it-all AI.
For those of you who have played the video game, you’re likely familiar with how you pronounce the name, Cortana. But for the rest of you, how is it supposed to be pronounced? Is it Core-TAH-nuh or Core-TA-nuh?
Let’s set something straight before answering it. I, personally, believe there is one answer, but as of this writing, I was informed that the product team over at Microsoft is calling it something else.
So, I’m going to put a line in the sand and see if I get push back.
